Magnificently planned by great architect Carl Ludwig Engel, Esplanadi (Swedish: Esplanaden, or simply Espa) attracts many visitors because of its lucrative design that is well-preserved from ancient times, marvellous monuments and lush surroundings. Located in the middle of Esplanadi Park is a statue of Johan Ludvig Runeberg, the national poet of Finland, along with many public art pieces. The centuries-old Kapelli Café Brasserie, situated at the eastern end of the park, is the perfect place to meet and relax.

The park was named after Catharina Wahllund and was handed over in 1829 to the University of Helsinki for gardening. The park area includes soccer ground, tennis and basketball courts. It is a famous place for holding events, concerts and festivals.

Located in the Töölö district in Helsinki, the monument resembles organ pipes made out of welded steel and is one of the most famous statues in Helsinki.

This park also has a playground, a café and a public washroom. Its pleasant surroundings and awesome landscapes attract tourists and locals as well.

Linnanmaki (Swedish: Borgbacken, colloquially Lintsi), Finland's most popular amusement and theme park, opened its doors in 1950.
